Overview
Kinesiology students use these labs in Level 2, 3 and 4. The interactive laboratory pods allow students to work in small groups, while the large LCD monitors above each station encourages them to share data between stations. In these Kinesiology labs you will study topics related to biomechanics, motor control and exercise physiology.
One of the labs includes maximal capacity testing while riding a bike to determine the amount of oxygen used by your body during exercise. You will also use built-in force plates to measure the force when you jump, use the biodex machine to quantify the force of muscle contractions, and track response times to different motor tasks.
